No automatic back up, but really easy to do it myself.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Automatic backup, but you have the choice of setting it to auto or clicking it to start if you don't keep it plugged in. Either way, it will save old and new docs, essentially. But I think once it has backed up everything the first time, which takes awhile, it detects whatever is new so that it doesn't take long at all for the backup.
