Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This is not an SSD drive; it contains a spinning drive inside. I have had a number of these over the years and have not had problems with any of them. You should make sure that the drive stays powered for a few seconds after being dismounted so that is has time to park the heads for storage. Then give is another few seconds to spin down before moving it. I would then expect that small bumps would not be a problem.
