If you format it on Windows with ExFAT, you can go back and forth between both operating systems.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.YES. The drive comes formatted NTFS. This means that on a MAC, you will only be able to read files.. not edit/delete. It is 3 clicks to reformat to exFAT using a Windows 10 PC. This way the drive will work perfectly, for all OS's (Windows, MAC OS, Linux, etc.).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It was formatted for Windows but I use it for both due to Paragon NTFS software. You can reformat it with exFAT if you want it to be usable read/write. Read my review for more information on this.
