• A:Answer Mine came with a cord that has a USB-C type plug on both ends. It came with a USB-A adapter. You can take the adapter and plug it into either end of the cord and that end will plug into any of the USB ports on your laptop or desktop. The other end plugs into the USB-C port on the external hard drive itself.

Q: QuestionIs this the latest generation of My Passport Ultra, the one that was just released or will be? If so, I was under the impression that it would have a USB-C with USB 3.1 port. It lists a "USB-C adapter" but also "data transfer with USB 3.0"... which is it?
