A: The easystore line is a BestBuy only hard drive with missing features (you cannot set a password or encrypt the drive) and a reduced warranty when compared to the WD MyPassport line. Otherwise it's a WD manufactured hard drive that offers great transfer speeds. Because the easystore has fewer features, it is generally cheaper. Q: Can this store pictures and music from an apple device and the other kind?
A: It wouldn't be able to connect up to an iPad or iPhone, but it would be able to be connected to a Mac or Windows based computer. Once connected, you could store pictures and music on it.

Super easy to use, reliable and small.
So easy to use. Just plug it in, tell the computer it's ok to connect and voila 2T of space for photos and videos! I've used it for a year now, does my backups daily, no problems at all. Reliable and small.

Excellent and Reliable External HD for PS4
Excellent I cheaper way to expand your storage for the PlayStation 4. I’m able to store a lot more games without having to delete hard drive space. It’s easy. The PlayStation will do all the work for you. Just plug and play. It’s small, black and hides right on top of the unit. This works great to for storing normal photos. Warning, the PlayStation will delete everything on the external drive if you have something stored on it already. I like Western Digital Brand more than others.
