QuestionAmazon lists this a a USB-C with a USB-A adapter, but BB does not list either though one of the pictures shows what looks like a USB-C port on the drive.

- Answer Mine came with a cord that has a USB-C type plug on both ends. It came with a USB-A adapter. You can take the adapter and plug it into either end of the cord and that end will plug into any of the USB ports on your laptop or desktop. The other end plugs into the USB-C port on the external hard drive itself.

QuestionWill I be able to format this for Mac and if I already have something saved on it will reformatting it negatively affect the saved information

- Answer I expect that the drive will not care about its orientation, but is should not be moved while it is spinning. If you put it on edge, you must hold it somehow so that it does not fall over while in use. If it falls over while the heads are in use you are virtually guaranteed to destroy the drive.
