Yes, use a "M.2 to SATA" adapter. But consult your MOBO owners manual, cause two or more hard drives plugged into the same port is double trouble. All kinds of bad things can happen.

Please try again later.I'm assuming that your motherboard has an M2 socket and you have backed up all of the data that you want transferred to another drive To load your current copy of Windows do the following... 1) Go into control panel/system and security to get the S/N of your registered copy of Windows (SUPER IMPORTANT) 2) Go to the Microsoft site and download the current iso for your version of windows 3) You are going to need a USB zip drive with atleast 8 Gig of space. I recommend using a fresh drive 4) Follow the instructions for downloading and preparing the image. 5) You should now have a bootable USB drive 6) Turn off computer and physically replace the hard drive with the SSD 7) Boot using the USB that you created and follow the instructions. 8) Enter the S/N that you recorded earlier. Since you ONLY changed the drive this number should be accepted. If it doesn't work for some reason just put your harddrive back.

There is software that you can download from WD, that will let you clone the contents from your current drive to the new one. I can't recall the name of the software, but as long as your current drive and the new one are both from WD, you shouldn't have problems.

Make sure you choose the correct type of enclosure for your SSD drive. Once your PC recognizes the drive you can use disk cloning software to make the "C" Drive clone. Check google for Disk cloning software (there are many to choose from). Good Luck!
