Hi Jane! While the Blink Outdoor 4 cameras don't come with included rechargeable batteries, you can always use your own. Typically they won't last as long as the included lithium ion batteries, but exact performance will depend on the batteries you're using. Looking online I have also seen some third party solutions like solar panels with built in batteries, but I didn't see anything like what you're describing.
