The product packaging says to install immediately, so I am assuming that it starts when you install it which is supposed to be immediately after purchase. Do get a definite answer please go to webroot.com for a direct answer

The experience we had was that the subscription started at the time of purchase. Our old Webroot did not expire for another two weeks before we purchased the new one but did find that the subscription started at the time of purchase

I bought it and you guys gave me the wrong advice, the subscription starts when you buy it not when you install it so I lost about 3 weeks of coverage because my old one hadn't expired yet, plus it doesn't even come with a CD in the box, they give you a code to install it and so far it hasn't installed properly, waste of money!
