A:AnswerYou can use the Wemo app to have control over your appliances. You connect them to your WiFi network, so I would believe it would be as secure as your network.
You do not need a hub if you’re using the app for the product.
A:AnswerYes, I don't see why you would not be able to plug two or three of these into a single power strip. As long as the appliances (e.g. lights or fan or radio) don't draw extreme power, you will be fine.
A:AnswerHello! Without Internet connection, you can still locally access/control your Wemo devices but needs phone > router > switch connection. For remote access, it requires phone > cloud > switch connection.
A:AnswerI have 3 wemos all in different rooms. I had to plug them in in the room near the wifi to set up, then I could move them to whatever room I wanted. All easily controlled with the wemo app on my phone. They all work individually. I hope this answers your question.
A:AnswerNo, BuffaloBob. Our Wemo App does not support controlling Wemo devices in multiple locations using one handheld device. If you have two homes at a different location with Wemo devices in them, then you may need to secure another handheld device to control one of the locations.
