QuestionWhat are the differences between the WMH31017HS and the WMH31017AS model? I am looking to replace my old WMH31017AS without worrying about the external vent position and mounting bracket. Any advice is very much appreciated.

QuestionHi , I am replacing a whirlpool model GH5184XPS-7 It is setup to vent to the outside from the rear and mounts on a wall cleat (I imagine you know this) Is this the closest direct replacement. What do I need to know to swap them out? Thanks!

Questioni currently have a dead wmh31017fs-0 manufactured march 2017........... did not last for long. this 1.7 has an hs for the last letters. is this more reliable than the fs-0 ? is the wall mount bracket the same ???? thanx

QuestionWhy does the front of the glass get dripping wet when cooking on top of the stove? The fan runs doesn't pull the steam away.

- Answer Use your back burner(s). Blower in microwave doesn't have much draw. Also, make sure microwave vent outlet is lined up with your exhaust duct.

QuestionMy son pulled open my Whirlpool Stainless Steel Over-the-Range Microwave (1.7 Cu. Ft.) - YWMH31017FS hard and it is broken. The door can open and close but when u open it the door breaks. Can I just get the door without having to buy the whole microwave?

QuestionMy WMH31017HZ microwave power cord is about an inch short of reaching the nearest outlet. The outlet is on a tiled wall over counter. So moving outlet is unaccomodating. The manual states “Do not use an extension cord”. Is there a reasonlable solution?

- Answer I hope so. I replaced my 3 yr old microwave because It had a latch problem also with this one. It seems as though the door is tighter, not as much play in the door as the old one.
