- Answer We just plugged the microwave in and began using it. The start button is on the lower left side, across from the stop button; just above the light and fan buttons (smaller).

QuestionMy WMH31017HZ microwave power cord is about an inch short of reaching the nearest outlet. The outlet is on a tiled wall over counter. So moving outlet is unaccomodating. The manual states “Do not use an extension cord”. Is there a reasonlable solution?

- Answer I hope so. I replaced my 3 yr old microwave because It had a latch problem also with this one. It seems as though the door is tighter, not as much play in the door as the old one.

QuestionDoes the fan come on automatically when cooking on the stove top? Is this a feature or defect? Was cooking on the stove top and the microwave exhaust fan went on by itself. Couldn't shut it off so we just unplugged. Do I have a defective unit?
