“I have had two over the stove microwaves short out because of steam from cooking on the stovetop. The one that just got fried is a Whirlpool. How can this be prevented in the future?”

• Ours is the same way. We are getting ready to install our 4th microwave in 9 years.

• Maybe turn on the fan. Maybe you microwave is to close to the stove top. Tony
