We’re now having this issue with our smart range, been stuck on hourglass for 12 hours. Tried unplugging for 5 min then plugging back in, and tried turning circuit breaker off for 5 min also. Neither helped, still stick. I can’t find any solutions online either, this is ridiculous and unacceptable, especially because this is Labor Day weekend.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same problem twice and I just unplugged it waited 5 minutes and plugged it back up. This fixed the problem and I notified Whrilpool and they said not to clear it the next time so they could see the problem.

We also replaced the motherboard, and that didn't work. The stove works but the oven can't be operated without the touchscreen. Very frustrating and since it's out of warranty, our only affordable option at this point is to replace the entire oven. When we do, it will NOT be a Whirlpool product...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We have had this problem with our Whirlpool smart double oven. The 'mother board' had to be replaced and it was out of warranty. Now the problem has reoccured except that it is not permanent. The entire unit recycles itself and the automatic clock goes back to 12:00, January 1. The oven still cooks but it can go off before finishing. The problem seems to be an inability of the oven to stay connected to the Wi-Fi modem needed for the clock to work. A manual connection reset works but after 3-4 seconds the hourglass symbol appears and the unit stops again. Very disappointing and Whirlpool support is hopeless. Almost impossible to talk with a real person.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We first had this issue a month into having our microwave. It happened while it was doing an auto update. A service person came out and said they had to replace the door and it'd take anywhere from a month to 2 for them to get a door. After making a complaint on the whirlpool site they replaced the door in about a week, then a couple of days later they replaced the now working microwave with a new one. We're having a similar issue with our range. Unplugging it works but the issue comes back a few hours later. We already checked the firmware which up to date. We're now out of warranty and might have to pay to get the almost 2 year old range repaired. We've had whirlpool appliances before and they've been very durable, I guess all the tech that goes into making it "smart" is doing the opposite. Did anyone find a resolution to this issue other than unplugging it or having them service it?

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have experienced the same issue and could only resolve it by unplugging/plugging the microwave. I had the microwave serviced under warranty (they replaced the entire front door). However, now the microwave screen goes blank.
