QuestionDoes it come with stainless steel plates to cover the rest of the opening?

- Answer The opening between my cabinets is 36 inches wide, but the microwave is only about 30 inches. My old microwave is also 30 inches wide, but there are steel plates on both sides to cover the difference between the 36-in opening and the 30-in microwave width. Do those plates come with this purchase? If not, do the installers have them and install them if I get the option for installation?

QuestionThree problems after 3 years 1. The glass tray is warped and will no longer rest on the turntable. 2. The interior coating is beginning to flake off. 3. A quarter sized bubble is on the interior ceiling. Maybe it was there originally?

- Answer No. It does have a two step light underneath it, but ironically; you’ll need a light to find the button to turn it on.

- Answer I suppose it could but would be awkward looking since the cord comes out of the top of the unit. The door may drag on the counter as well.

- Answer Unless you have a space over the oven were the cabinets are, I wouldn’t put a microwave in. I have 17” between microwave and oven. Hope that helps.

- Answer My installer threw out these documents. I have no sticker inside the door, and customer service said they can’t send me one. I tried to go to a retailer today to see a Whirlpool microwave they might have one…no luck either! I need someone to send a picture!

- Answer The start button took me a while too. By trial-and-error, I determined that the start button is the little ">" symbol on the bottom left of the control panel. I have not worried about the charcoal filter yet, and don't know where it is. I have yet to find any useful users' guide or other documentation.
