A: I was able to use the the same mounting rack from a very similar Whirlpool I had professionally installed 9 years earlier. Some plastic piece on the door latch actuator broke on the old whirlpool microwave that I used several times a day. Although this could be a cheap fix "if" one properly takes apart and puts back together, I decided to just buy a new microwave. I was lucky and the mounting plate was exactly the same. My wife and I were able to just slip the new microwave in and tighten down the bolts.

Q: What's the difference between Whirlpool OTR microwave WMH31017HS and WMH31017HZ?
A: Fan is 300 CFM on HS and 330 CFM on HZ (HZ has stronger fan).
A: In the neck to the last row on the control panel is an arrow pointing to the right that is your start and 2 over is your stop

Q: I want to turn the clock OFF, it's way too bright esp. at night. How do I turn the clodk OFF?
A: Hi Bill, there is no "dimmer" switch for this model, however, there is a work around that might work for your purposes. Q: Does this keyboard light up ?
A: What about the 2023 model? If not that was a big mistake I have to turn on another light to punch in the numbers especially earlier in the day.

Whirlpool - 1.7 Cu. Ft. O-T-R SS Microwave
Microwave looks great and works great. Having no problems or issues. Heats food/cooks food as a microwave should. Fingerprint resistance on the stainless steel is not just a selling gimmick it actually works and will continue to work as long you don't apply harsh chemical cleaning compounds to remove the properties of it. Whenever there is something there to clean just use a soft cloth or paper-towel to clean it (preferably the soft cloth). Only thing I regret, is not choosing the product model with sensor cooking, but that's on me. This microwave is an excellent buy for a large size cooker.

Great features
We purchased this to replace the original whirlpool microwave. Its wonderful. No fingerprints. The fan goes on automatically if it feels to high of heat which is really a cool feature. Its spacious for larger dishes to warm and warms the food well.
