• Phyl, the depth with the door open 90° is 39 3/8 inches, the width is 29 15/16 inches, the height is 17 1/8 inches and the depth is 15 9/16 inches for this Whirlpool® Microwave.

• The microwave cabinet is id 29.5" so if the space to the left is a wall or cabinet, then the door will not open. I would say you need a minimum of 6 inches to left side of open space to accommodate the door opening properly. The door plus handle is 3.5 inches on my model, so you would need additional room for your hand. See photos
