Q: QuestionIs there a separate operable vent to exhaust odor and heat from the gas cooktop which will be below this microwave? If yes, can this be routed to attach to my existing duct, which directs the “contaminated” air through the attic & into the great outdoors?

Q: Questionhow is it vented? is it vented outside? I do not have range hood. My current microwave is Maytag, model, MMV1164WWW, I think it has vent in front above the unit. i don't have any vents in the kitchen.

Over-the-Range Fingerprint Resistant Microwave -Stainless Steel the mounting of both are similar, however, the current unit and the WMG31017HZ do have different specifications. We would recommend checking out the Installation Manual for more information on the difference between the two.

• A:Answer I've had the same problem. Microwave was 7 months old when bulb burned out. When unscrewing old bulb, there was a spark and it shorted out a circuit board. We've been waiting a month for the part and it's still not here. Home Depot has the bulbs, but whatever you do, unplug the microwave before removing the bulb. You don't want to go through the same thing we are.
