QuestionOur power went out last night and now there is no light on the area where it shows the time, amount of usage time, etc. It still works as you can hear it count down and beeps when done? Is there a replaceable light in there. Outage may have caused this?

Questionhow is it vented? is it vented outside? I do not have range hood. My current microwave is Maytag, model, MMV1164WWW, I think it has vent in front above the unit. i don't have any vents in the kitchen.

- Answer I've had the same problem. Microwave was 7 months old when bulb burned out. When unscrewing old bulb, there was a spark and it shorted out a circuit board. We've been waiting a month for the part and it's still not here. Home Depot has the bulbs, but whatever you do, unplug the microwave before removing the bulb. You don't want to go through the same thing we are.
