QuestionThe Best Buy Installers connected the vent to go outside to the roof but I noticed that it vents through the grates on top of the microwave as well. A lot of air is coming from those vents into the house. Does this mean it isn't venting through the roof?

QuestionBestbuy sales person didn't tell me this was a range top. I have no way to mount this anyplace. Since this has an option to turn off fan can I use it safely on a countertop or if I buy a rack that allows venting underneath? Hiding cord with my hat!

QuestionIs there a way to tell if this product has been vented out (rather than circulated air) without needing to remove the microwave from its installation? I moved into the unit with it already installed and I think the unit might not be venting out.

- Answer Easiest way would be to turn it on and out your hand at the top. If you feel blown air, it is on circulation mode.

- Answer Yes, you can adjust the volume of the beeps via the "Clock" function. Scrolling thru the Clock will give you a variety of options to include silencing the beeps, energy saving mode, etc.

- Answer I don't understand, what you mean by outside venting fixture, but you can change the fan direction from up to back. You need to get to make a hole in the back wall and get the venting fixture from Home Depot under 10 dollars and easy to do it. Good Luck.
