- Answer I've had the same problem. Microwave was 7 months old when bulb burned out. When unscrewing old bulb, there was a spark and it shorted out a circuit board. We've been waiting a month for the part and it's still not here. Home Depot has the bulbs, but whatever you do, unplug the microwave before removing the bulb. You don't want to go through the same thing we are.

QuestionThe Best Buy Installers connected the vent to go outside to the roof but I noticed that it vents through the grates on top of the microwave as well. A lot of air is coming from those vents into the house. Does this mean it isn't venting through the roof?

QuestionBestbuy sales person didn't tell me this was a range top. I have no way to mount this anyplace. Since this has an option to turn off fan can I use it safely on a countertop or if I buy a rack that allows venting underneath? Hiding cord with my hat!
