I do not have this problem. Perhaps, if the owner (Joe) would ensure, by consulting the manual, that all parts are seated correctly...

Yes, I just poked at the Styrofoam and the vibration stopped, apparently a loose or improper fit. This Whirlpool is noisy with an almost constant hum.
