“Does this dishwasher pop open when done? I bought samsung last year just sold it because it popped open to let out hot steam and I did NOT like that. That hot steam is dangerous and I want to make sure I buy one that doesn't have that this time.”

No, the unit stays locked and closed after the cycle is completed. There is also an option for extra dry so I don't have to dry off things as I unload the unit.
