The doors are removable. Without them, the depth is just under 27 1/2 inches. Best Buy has a service where they will come out and measure your space and let you know if the refrigerator will fit (complimentary). I had them out because from the measurements given it didn't seem that it would fit. They came out and reassured me that it would and they were right.
