Inside the unit, when you open the left door, easy to use and a great space saver. Cold filtered water and no mess from drops and spills compared to an ouside (on the door) option, I have had that in our previous house and did not like the clean up commitment

Open the left door. It is on the left sidewall about half way up.

This was purchased for someone who didn't want the water dispenser, but we did ask where it was while in-store and was told that it's an optional feature that can be included in the version purchased (would be on the front like a traditional dispenser), and set up on installation. We never saw it on any of the display items, but since she didn't want it we had no issue with not seeing it. I'd double check with Best Buy that the item you purchase includes the dispenser promised.

Not on outside of box! When you open the door on the left side it is inside on the left side of the main refrigerator. Hope that answers your question.
