They told us the same thing. We wanted White but they said no telling when they could get one. They said white is a rare thing today. So we took the Stainless Steel and it was a three day wait. I have always disliked Stainless and they cost more. But we got it on a Holiday sale in November and got 30% off so it became worth it. It was like not paying for stainless steel. Anyway, I have gotten used to it now so all is good. Try it!
