Thank you for your inquiry. This refrigerator is 35 3/4 inches wide. When installing next to a fixed wall, we do recommend that you leave a minimum of 3 3/4 inch gap between the refrigerator and the wall to allow for the door to swing open. We hope you find this information useful.

I previously had a side x side because I needed freezer space for a family & had a wall (extends way past 32") next to left side of fridge! This is a good choice and it will fit, however- you will only be able to open door next to wall about 75% open. You can still access deli tray really well- just need to reposition small/shallow left side door bin so deli drawer can be pulled clear of doors. I've gotten pretty good at positioning much needed items in the 3 gallon size door bins on right side door! All weight evenly distributed & items easily accessible that way. Good luck!!
