I don't have that problem and it must have been an incorrect installation on the bottom. There is all kinds of noises as the manual states but unless you have it next to your bed it shouldn't be bothersome.

I purchased the item about 3 weeks ago they attempted to deliver the item twice both times the product was defective I am scheduled for a third delivery this week we will see what happens
