“The filter on the upper left side of the refridgerator that says "FreshFlow"...is there supposed to be styrofoam in that piece...? It looks like it takes a filter and should be replaced, but I see styrofoam in there..was this installed incorrectly.?”

Hello SunshineGirl42! The Styrofoam would stay in the unit. That is meant to be there. Thank you for your inquiry on our Whirlpool appliances.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is supposed to be an air filter installed at that location. An air filter may need to be installed as it is not supposed to be a piece of Styrofoam.
