Hi diane, yes the exterior holds magnets.

Yes, it does, just the regular magnet could stick on it well.

Magnets will stick to sides and front of this model. This made me question whether or not it was stainless steel, but it looks good and so far it seems to stay cleaner than my previous stainless frig which did not hold magnets on the front.
