• Hi Mark, This Whirlpool - 28.4 Cu. Ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator does have the 6th Sense® system which does alert when the unit is cooling properly

• not sure, but you can press a button anytime to see the temperature of both the freezer & refrigerator.
