“Just purchased this model. On the inside of the freezer door, under the base where the ice bucket sets. There is a hole with a piece of masking tape covering it. What is this hole for and should I remove the tape?”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.that's the hole where the ice fall through if you push the lever for the ice maker, not? That tape is suppose to be remove when you start using the fridge. With that tape in there, ice won't be able to fall through into you glass.
