Hello, the occurrence of rust on stainless steel is usually related to environment and improper cleaning solvents (ie All Purpose Cleaners ect...). If you have your unit is a climate controlled environment and use solvents made specifically for stainless steel appliances, you should not experience and issue with rust. We hope this helps!
