• The water is not cooled. Cannot adjust temperature per Whirlpool's answer to similar question above. They said the temperature cannot be adjusted - which is a bummer!!!

• Hi RichC the WRS588FIHZ has a small reservoir in the right hand side of the unit (Fresh Food compartment) where filtered water is held until the dispenser is activated.
