I think I had to pay a small amount for the hook up . But my problem was there was not a shut off water valve inside my kitchen behind my old refrigerator and that meant the refrigerator could not be installed and I had to at for a plumber to come and install the valve before I could set up a new appointment. Which was another nightmare until I spoke to the Last Young lady in the delivery department who finally put all of my appointments together so delivery, set up, and removal could happen in one day. I am happy to have my refrigerator

The water vakve can be damaged if you overtighten it.
