“Apparently you can't use the start button to reset back to sensing when you've added items to your load - the machine continues to wash without enough water to properly clean the clothing that's been added.”

You are right you cannot get enough water in the machine to properly clean the clothes. I have to take a bucket and add extra water.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you have to add clothes do it with in seconds after you decide to because once the top locks it will not let you back in to change the cycle if you want more water turn the knob on the right that says deep water wash as part of your cycle
