• We bought this cooktop just recently and we feel the knobs are very filmsy, not made of any metal it seems, maybe just the stainless steel coating make it looks like it is stainless steel. Over time we'll find out for sure. Our old GE cooktop had similar knobs which over time had the coating ripped off and revealed the plastic underneath it.
