Sticking out is not a problem - it is supposed to be deeper than the cabinet to cover cooking area. it has black glass touch panel only on the front - this is what you see on the photos. Sides, bottom and top are stainless.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can mount it under a 15" cabinet, and when you do it will allow you to remove a panel to make it a vent free unit. As for the front No there is no Stainless visable on the face. What you are seeing is a slight bite of plexi-glass
