• A:Answer Yes, it can work with exhaust or without it - as a recirculating fan. But you will have to buy their charcoal filters for recirculation separately. Generic filters do not fit, their brand filters are expensive and out of stock. I just bought a charcoal filter material at Amazon for like $15, cut out right size pieces and stuck them under aluminum mesh filter that comes with this hood. This hood has great looks, but fan is quite a bit noisy

• A:Answer yes, but it may be cheaper if you knew someone who can do it for you. i had best buy install mine which was a replacement and they did a great job. this hood is fantastic, the lights are very bright.

Q: Question1. Can I mount this under a 15" deep upper cabinet? I don't like that 6.5" of it will extend beyond a 12" upper cabinet. 2. Is there any silver stainless on the front? Some pictures look entirely black, while some show an edge of silver around black

• A:Answer Sticking out is not a problem - it is supposed to be deeper than the cabinet to cover cooking area. it has black glass touch panel only on the front - this is what you see on the photos. Sides, bottom and top are stainless.

• A:Answer Hello! The filters are not dishwasher safe. This model has a CFM motor class of 350. Sound Max Speed (Sones) (sone) 6, Sones High Speed Vertical 8.5, Sones High Speed Horizontal 8. We greatly apologize as we do not have power draw.
