“I just received this refrigerator but the "nightlight" on the ice maker stays on 24 hrs a day. The manual says it should go off during the day when there is ambient light. Anybody else having this problem?”

• Ours stay on all the time but our kitchen is in the middle of the house and is relatively dark even in mid day. So that may be the reason.

• Iv'e had my fridge since 9/15/16. My light is always on as well, but I wouldn't call it a problem since it consumes very little energy.
