QuestionDoes the ice maker in the freezer have a shut off?

- Answer Yes. It is inside the refrigerator within the control panel along the top. To activate, Just tap the control labeled "Ice Maker 2". it will blink 3 times, then illuminate. Do the same to deactivate and it will become dim. The main Ice maker cranks out enough ice for my family of 7, but the 2nd ice maker comes in handy for guest visits, and when extra ice is needed for our margarita machine. The main ice maker has a manual switch on it as well. Also, when not in use the ice bin in the freezer is great for extra storage. FYI, the ice cubes are not your typical large crescent shaped type. They are nice smaller cubes that can fit in a water bottle. I know you didn't ask for all of the extra info, but I thought I'd share. When I bought my fridge, there was hardly any info available from regular consumers. I hope this helps.

QuestionHow can I get this in my house? 36" wide is already the width of a standard door frame, can't see this fitting in a normal house.

- Answer You can take off the doors and then it should fit through almost every home's front door.

- Answer The refidgerator is junk, there is no defrost timer or element so what has happened is the coil in refidgerator section has froze over, its next to the water lines that feed the ice maker and there froze too

QuestionI just received this refrigerator but the "nightlight" on the ice maker stays on 24 hrs a day. The manual says it should go off during the day when there is ambient light. Anybody else having this problem?

- Answer Ours stay on all the time but our kitchen is in the middle of the house and is relatively dark even in mid day. So that may be the reason.

QuestionPurchased fridge 7/17 Gainesville, VA never kept temperature in the safe zone. My children have had intermittent vomiting for months, we have lost $$$ food/work. Third time repair person, same issue, part is on back order another few weeks. Pick up!

- Answer Just under 70" like 69 7/8". It is also 36"×36" not including the handles. This is a very big and deep refrigerator. You need at least 33" doorway but wider would be better. They took the doors off the refrigerator and I took the front door off the hinges and all the hardware like catches, brakets to storm door. We have 34" doorway and it barely fit. So measure . But completely happy . It does stick out a bit further than most but most refrigerators 27 cu feet plus are about the same height and width. It's the depth iswhere they gain room.

- Answer Yes there is definitely a problem with this fridge and the manufacturing. Do not buy this fridge! We have had nothing but problems with it.
