“I am replacing a KitchenAid 36 inch gas cooktop. The cutout in the countertop is 35x19. The actual length of the KitchenAid is 37 !/2 in the middle so there is a 1 1/4 in. support. the Whirlpool would have only a 1/2 inch support on each side, Is that OK”
