Yes...definitely!!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The panel is NOT stainless steel...it is a stainless steel "finish" on regular steel...think doorknobs. A clear costing is applied to the "finish" to make it "finger-print resistant". The panel will rust if not very carefully maintained and probably will anyway even if it is....too much water and steam around a dishwasher. I own one and although the appliance cleans very well it is a great disappointment with regard to cosmetics after only 2 years.

Please try again later.Hi Nick: I purchased this unit a couple weeks ago and yes it is "fingerprint resistant" meaning it doesn't get as dirty as the regular ss did before, and it does wipe clean easier. For your reference I noticed that anything ending with an HZ in the model number will have the stainless steel fingerprint resistant finish. Hope this helps. For what its worth, I am really happy with my purchase, works great and replaced a regular stainless steel whirlpool refrigerator that was 9 years old and kicked the bucket.
