“Bought the fridge in August 2021, & the water filter light has yet to turn on as of May 2022. I thought it would turn on after 6 months? It’s been well over 8 months. Were we supposed to press the reset button for the water filter when we got the fridge?”

Hello XM. We would recommend that you hold the light and ice type at the same time for 3 seconds. If the water filter light does not come on, please call Whirlpool at 866-698-2538. We are available Monday & Tuesday 8:00 am-8:00 pm and Wednesday through Friday 9:00 am-7:00 pm. They will be better able to assist you.
