QuestionThe spec sheet for this range says 50 Amps and 120 Volts. My experience is that most electric ranges run on 220/240 Volts, which is what my current range uses. Please clarify.

QuestionI've had a Whirlpool range before, and had to rewire it myself as it was well out of warranty (not hard, just tedious). Are the burners on this one wired in series (all fail if one does) or in parallel (only the burner that failed will not work)?

QuestionWhat can you do to remove cooked on food on top of the stove? I had a boil over of something and even though I tried to clean it up immediately there is still an awful ring.

- Answer I've had luck with Barkeepers Friend colitis cleaner. Apply with a damp sponge or paper towel. Use a plastic scraper and it should remove most spills.

- Answer That happened to me the first couple of times I used the oven. This worked for me: try opening and reclosing the oven door - give it an extra push (but don't slam) to make sure it is firmly shut so that it makes contact to turn off the light.
