Dryer not heating well. Just received delivery and installation by Best Buy of the Cabrio 7.0 Cu. Ft. 13-cycle electric dryer. It is not heating well, seemingly very little and clothes are not drying. Suggestions as to the likely problem ??

This happened to me on the first 3 loads I tried to dry. It took forever. However, now after the 4th and 5th load it works great. Hope yours does also.

Hello,
You can check to make sure the exhaust vent is not too long or has too many turns. Long venting will increase drying times. Check the installation instruction for proper venting length. Thank you for your inquiry regarding our Whirlpool appliances. Thank you, Decole

Call the Geek Squad or talk to someone at the Best Buy store you purchased from. As long as it's under warranty or a new purchase, they should send someone to repair. If you've had for 15 days or more, you can request a new one.

Mine drys well. Either its your ventilation, lint tray, heat temp setting, or its defective. If its the latter, request either a full refund, or an exchange.

Is the dryer heat setting on High? Medium does not get things like jeans and cottons full dry in one cycle....

maybe a lemon out of the great products experience we have had with Whirlpool. Have them to give you a better product by returning it.
