• The 3/4 prong has to do with YOUR own personal plug. Mine was 3. But installer came with both 3 & 4 prong.

• The dryer comes without a cord. (Bought separately). Buy the plug (3 or 4 prongs) that fits the outlet in your laundry room. You can wire either to this machine.
