That is correct and it is a bit bothersome since I place pants on the washer after they are dried until I can fold them. Well I did that and they did fall off the washer. The dryer is the same, I can't put anything on the tops or they will slide off. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. I didnt know it when I ordered online for my small laundry room. I keep my soap on top and first thing it slid off. HATE IT. I am trying to find some type of shelf I use to keep what is typically kept on dryer. Why would Whirlpool do that is beyond me !!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is sort of rounded. Baskets would stay, something rounded would not. Papers sort of slide too.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it is slanted & I thought that would be a problem for me since I used to 'store' folded clothes on my old dryer and now that I can't, I appreciate the design
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the top is sloped so things that roll will roll off the top. Our washer is flat so we put things on it instead so not a real issue for us. Why they made the top rounded I don't know, maybe to make the unit smaller?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's rounded at the end, but I just put my detergent toward the top of the machine - no big deal. They should also be on display at your local Best Buy if you want to take a look.
