“I have a standard 2" stand pipe that a wash machine is currently draining into. Is the drain tube for this dryer thin enough to fit in the same stand pipe as the wash machine?”

The dryer drain tube starts off as a typical plastic tube, which connects to the dryer, but the drain end of the tube reduces down to a small diameter bendable copper tube which easily slid in next to the washer drain tube on a standard sized washer drain.
