“My Whirlpool Cabrio (bought 3 yrs ago) has a defect where the door lock latch light blinks during wash which stops the spin cycle. I'd like to just replace the washer and have matching unit. Does anyone know if the defect has been fixed?”

• no it has not I have only had my washer for a little over a year and I'm having the same issue
